Batenburg Techniek is a holding company with 1100 employees and headquartered in Rotterdam. The Batenburg Mechatronics division operates in the Benelux with 60 people.

From the Zaventem site, customers in Belgium and Luxembourg are served for electronic components and measuring equipment.

Electronic components

The target markets for the components are appliance and mechanical engineering with applications in commercial manufacturing, medical, transportation, packaging, entertainment and other demanding industries.

Batenburg Mechatronics offers support in the selection of the most suitable components during the design and these can be both standard and customized components. A further step may be to collaborate on a subassembly both during design and production and possibly logistics.

Key areas of work are:

• Thermal management, both cooling and heating, with fans, heatsinks, Peltier, thermal films, heating resistors. Complete solutions based on these building blocks are also offered.
• Sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, force, displacement, vibration and shock.
• Technical films for electrical insulation and/or thermal conductivity.

Measuring equipment

With the representation of Hioki, Batenburg Mechatronics can offer measuring equipment of Japanese quality.

• For the installer, there is a wide selection of multimeters, current clamps, battery testers, grounding testers and phase detectors.
• In test and production environment, LCR testers, precision resistance meters, battery testers, leakage current meters and waveform generators are used.
• Factories use memory recorders, loggers and power quality analyzers.
