Helix 500 drives vision for Smart Logistics

Artemis Vision chose the OnLogic Helix 500 (HX500) as the basis for the RaPTr. A camera takes a picture of the pallet and barcodes as it passes by. The Helix 500 stores the inventory list and can then run queries or stored procedures. A "barcode read event" can then display specific messages on a connected screen. This information gives forklift drivers and warehouse personnel immediate feedback that products and pallets are in the right place and on time. Furthermore, the photo is proof of the pallet's condition and contents.
