Compact power supply with integrated UPS
Block's reliable and compact DIN-rail power supply PEL-4124-013-01 combines a 24Vdc / 1.3A power supply with a buffer in one housing. This integrated UPS provides additional safety and plant availability in case of short-term power failure of at least 5 seconds. Thanks to the maintenance-free and durable supercaps, the power supply meets all the requirements of the VDE-AR-N 4105 directive regarding grid stability in conjunction with the integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid. Due to the FRT (Fault Ride Through) functionality, systems remain stable after grid failures. Thus, the PEL also meets the requirements for TOR producers.
The power supply may be connected in parallel for higher currents and can be used over a wide temperature range from -25 to +55°C, which is ideal for outdoor applications.
The compact design allows easy installation in switchboards and distribution boxes. In addition to the application possibilities already mentioned, the power supply is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
