GEFRAN GFX4-IR POWER REGULATOR version 3.0. Extremely compact and powerful

Thanks to the integration of various functions, both three-phase systems and 4 independent electrical loads can be controlled.

Within a single device, it combines 4 closed-loop PID controllers, 4 solid-state relays (SSR) up to 40A per channel, 4 fuses, 4 current transformers, 4 digital and 8 analog inputs. All this in a compact installation, with a significant reduction in cabling.

The 4 integrated PID controllers guarantee precise parameter control. On the other hand, the 4 SSR outputs can drive the simplest linear resistive loads as well as nonlinear loads such as infrared lamps, Super Kanthal, Silicon-Carbide (SiC) and Molybdenum-Silicon (MoSi2).

A wide range of fieldbuses allows easy integration of the GFX4-IR even in the most advanced automation systems. Configuration of parameters is possible by the PLC over fieldbus or via PC, making the GFX4-IR a true plug-and-play solution!

In addition, the system's diagnostic data ensures economical energy consumption. For example, current spikes on the load during startup are prevented by the built-in Soft Start function and the heuristic switch-on algorithm ensures a balanced load on the grid. Furthermore, the V-I-P feedback function allows the user to control voltage, current or power according to the requirements of the heating process.
