New LinMot gripper modules: where precision and speed come together

The GM-50 is an electric gripper designed to handle light objects at maximum speed. The gripper fingers are controlled by multifunctional LinMot servo drives, making their motion profiles fully programmable. This ensures that the gripper can be easily adjusted to meet specific speed, positioning and force requirements.

The GM-51 offers all the capabilities of the GM-50, supplemented by an integrated rotary motor for continuous rotation. This addition makes the gripper ideal for dynamic positioning, assembly and screwing tasks. Thanks to the accuracy of the absolute encoder, the gripper achieves high precision in angular positioning. In addition, the linear motor monitors the position of the gripper fingers, eliminating the need for external sensors and cables.

Both models are designed for demanding pick-and-place applications and assembly tasks. They offer closing and opening times of less than 20 milliseconds and allow precise, individual adjustment of gripping movements. Furthermore, there is no power consumption in the open or closed position and the gripper maintains its strength in the event of power failure, while manual operation is simple. The integrated adapter for cable caterpillar and cables ensures efficient and neat installation.
