Inclinometers from Kübler

Duranmatic brings from Kübler, manufacturer of encoders, counters, slip rings and inclinometers, among others, a new series of inclinometers, the IN6x / IN7x series. Both versions are available with an analog output or an IO-Link interface.

With the extension of both these series, both 2-dimensional inclinations with a measurement range of ±85° and 1-dimensional inclinations up to 360° can be measured.

In addition to innovative sensor technology, the inclinometers with plastic housing offer simple programming options. For example, the center point and end points can be adjusted via a Teach adapter. Further parameters such as direction of rotation, filter settings, output signal and level functions can be defined via FDT/IODD (PACTware).

A visual support by 3 LEDs and the level function enable time-saving commissioning and ensure transparency during operation and diagnosis. The wide temperature range of -40°C ... +85°C and the high protection class IP68 / IP69K allow accurate measurements even under the harshest environmental conditions.

The IN7x inclinometers additionally have a gyroscope sensor in addition to the acceleration measurement cell (MEMS) for accurate angle measurement. An intelligent algorithm combines the recorded values for acceleration and rotation speed, leading to high speed in calculating and transmitting the measurement result. This enables its use in dynamic applications.

Consider applications with moving (moving) vehicles such as AGVs, forklifts, cranes and tractors where the load must be kept horizontal.

The IN6x series is specifically designed for static , i.e. stationary, applications. Examples include cranes, fire engines, lift tables and high workers.
