A pull-rope switch is also called an emergency stop switch, but additional functions make a pull-rope switch more than just an emergency stop switch. For example, a pull-wire switch can have an emergency stop button and integrated reset button. steute develops and produces, among other things, pull-wire switches, position switches, wireless switches and is a specialist in safe switching applications.
Pull-wire switches are available in different variants, such as with a plastic or metal housing, in ATEX versions, with seals up to IP69K and with single- or double-sided operation. The switch is activated by pulling/operating the cable (pull cord).
Until now, the extremely robust and versatile emergency pull cord and strap warp switches of the ZS 92 S/SR series from steute have been "packaged" in a die-cast aluminum housing which, thanks to multiple coatings (passivation, primer and powder coating), are ideally suited to extreme environmental conditions. Alternatively, users can now also choose a housing made of high-quality duroplastic that is absolutely corrosion-resistant. All screws and connecting elements are made of stainless steel.
The installation dimensions are compatible with the current ZS 92 series emergency pull cord and strap warp switches, so that existing (transport) installations can easily be retrofitted with the new switches. With the ZS 92 SR strap warp switch, the switching points for advance warning and shutdown are easily adjustable in 5° increments, greatly increasing usability and versatility
