Now organize Codesys programs with bag

Turck Automation update provides condition monitoring for smart cables, batch processing for Codesys and visualization for HF RFID communications

The latest release 1.9 of the Turck Automation Suite (TAS) now makes it possible to download, store, run, stop and restore Codesys control programs over the network via batch processing. Until now, this had to be done directly in Codesys on each individual device. The update offers another innovation for the M12Plus smart cable series: The Cable Monitor app shows the current and temperature of the M12Plus smart cables in TAS, so condition monitoring can be implemented for particularly critical connections.

The HF Tag Actions app offers a similar feature. It can now display any potential detuning on HF read/write heads for long range devices (TNSLR) that may be caused by metallic environments. This provides additional transparency and security when commissioning RFID systems. TAS even offers enhanced analysis with the HF Quality app for the new Q130 HF read/write head with Ethernet interface. Transmission quality and RSSI value are graphically displayed in near real-time.  

Another new feature is the addition of Chinese, French and Spanish to the existing German and English menu languages. The new version 1.9.0.0 will be available immediately on the Turck website or as an update directly in TAS at the beginning of the 2023 SPS fair.
