B&R adds new compact PLC to its Compact-S series

Double the storage capacity

B&R offers a new Compact-S PLC with 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of internal flash memory. This gives the X20CP0484-1 more than twice the RAM capacity of previous models in the Compact-S series. This is ideal for applications with high memory and performance requirements.

At only 37.5 mm wide including power supply, the X20CP0484-1 is part of B&R's compact PLC portfolio. With Ethernet, POWERLINK, USB and RS232, this PLC offers numerous communication options. An optional CAN interface is available. The PLC is maintenance-free because there are no fans or batteries.

Slim automation solution

X20 I/O modules can be connected directly to the controller and connect seamlessly. The whole system saves a lot of space in the control cabinet. Even with its small size, the PLC controller has a built-in power supply for itself and the connected I/O modules. Thus, no additional supplementary power supply module is needed anymore.
